I just came across a lovely interpretation of the Evening Gatha told by Judith Ragir, especially that last line (I added the "good") ...

“I beg to urge you, everyone.
Great is the matter of birth and death.
All things pass quickly away.
Awaken, awaken, take heed!
Make (good) use of this precious life.

I am usually pretty good at managing my own pain levels, but these ribs are really off the scale. A lesson for me not to feel so proud of myself perhaps.

I'm sure it will resolve. I hope that's soon.
