Hmmm....I can't seem to get into the zen-hall either. I also have a mac but haven't had any trouble with the hall in a while. I'll be sitting anyway. (A little late)

Ok. Now I am just about computer illiterate but I did have a look at an Oovoo forum. It appears that they have upgraded/ are upgrading there system to work with Apple's new operating system, "Lion", which is coming out this summer. Until then, if you have an Apple, you may be out of luck! I repeat, I know almost nothing about computers so someone should probably double check this.

I have a mac too, and can't get in either. They suggested trying opening Safari in 32-bit mode, but that didn't work either. No other web browser seem to work except Safari.

All it says is "Waiting for Shohei response".

Yep, here too ... eating CPU like mad but not getting in. Not different in Google Chrome,
makes not much difference to sitting though

After being late for the Hall, I realized that my wife needs the computer for a teleconference. I guess you can imagine me on ooVoo while I sit. :P

That said the meeting hall has the same issue... but its Engyo with the anti-mac sentiments (hehe)
Its a hiccup on oovoo's part as Shugen already up a few posts. I was on with my wife's macbook pro testing and alas im waiting on my own response too... tricky ego!!
anywho Sorry folks I have no suggestions at the moment.

okay that moment passed. The point of oovoo is to be a better multiperson video chat app than skype.
Perhaps folks with macs and pc's alike could get the oovoo client, make up a temporary account. (just download the program and install, think it prompts you to log in or set up an account at that point. all you need is a email address, make a password and screen name and voila) post your oovoo user name here and each add each other to your contact list and then when you go to sit your scheduled sitting time add "dial" any of the contacts in your list that were online.

thats the only working solution there is at the moment. The temporary (aka free) accounts are good for a month. which may hold one out until the release of Lion for mac. When that account expries you can make a new one with a new email address. (though lets hope oovoo gets this sorted out soon. Im swamped this week at work (12 days straight and 11 hour days etc) but when it dies off some i will pester oovoo support!

Apparently this is not my week with ooVoo either, for different reasons. The latest in a series of mildy unfortunate events was a storm that took out the power last night. :? Eh, what are ya gonna do...
