If anyone happens by in that time slot I hang around, you should know you might hear some gongs and a lot of chanting; Heart Sutra, Diamond Sutra, Karaniya Metta Sutta, as well as Medicine Buddha and Great Compassion Mantras, on different nights.
If the sound is distracting, just click the 'Oovoo' speaker button off.

I actually did not. It was early, and I thought that maybe it had something to do with our...Macbook. SHUDDER. In any case, I'll try, try again tomorrow.

Tonight is Zazenkai (at least where I am). I'll be sitting in Zen Hall and on ustream
Oh, I know it is not feasible for all, or perhaps even many (technically or practically); we being in so many time zones (here and there) and on such a variety of computers; family situations. Still I would encourage those who can or who would to join in on the 'ustream' link Jundo provides in the Zazenkai forum.
Barring this, there is the recorded version later which allows "now and then" and it goes a long way to supporting the main plank of our practice of Shikantaza, not to mention Jundo, as well as Treeleaf Sangha in Tsukuba.
Please don't take me wrongly, its just a word of encouragement to those who maybe have not tried it yet or been away for a while.
If the changes in ustream format or logging in isn't immediately clear to any, please just ask. There are many here who would assist.
Hope to see you here and there, now and then; it's all just sitting together in any event!

I will be sitting the recorded version either Saturday or Sunday evening. Once I get a time nailed down, I'll post it if any would like to join.

Chant along, hold it in your mind and sit with it, or turn off the sound, as you choose.

Just a reminder that I will be sitting our most recent Zazenkai at 8.00pm CST (3.5 hours from this posting). Additionally, I'm going to try to sit a Zazenkai every Thursday around this time, for those who are unable to attend the live sitting.

Good to sit with you as well, Engyo. I won't be on for my appointed time tonight; things have come up around the house that have to get done before the work week starts. :shock:

Saijun -- I like the Thursday idea; I think Ron used to do something similar before my time with Treeleaf. If you're sitting this week, I'll join you. I work night shift on Friday, so my schedule is all out of whack.
