I got to eat meat without breaking any precepts and it was delicious! The waitress brought Chicken Relleno vs Cheese Relleno at the local Texmex food restaurant and I could not send it back. It would have been wasted and the waitress would have felt bad too.

Can't wait to capitalize on the next screwed up order at a restaurant!

Kyonin is saying exactly what I was trying to say--in most of the world protein is scarce, so people eat what they can find, and this often means they resort to eating what people in richer countries as in Scandinavian countries would not eat. Yet even in these countries there are special sources of protein specific to customs.
