Hi Don,
I saw you on Thursday night in the hall (I don't know if you could see me). I haven't been very consistent in signing up but things are calming down again so I'll get back to it until the next storm comes around .

As to getting dropped from the sitting scheduler, it has done that for quite awhile. It's happened to me in the distant past and I guess it continues to happen. The first time it happened, I took it personally - now, I just know it's some kind of glitch in the system.

and speaking of innovation/tradition, i believe it is traditional to sit in the zendo, no? -- or is it, in the case of treeleaf, an innovation? -- or perhaps, by sitting in the hall, you are being innovative in a traditional way

anyway, just did a sit, with video, with janne, and didn't get disconnected :!: -- first time i haven't had to resort to appearing w/o video -- so, will try winblows again tomorrow am, with ron and kvon

This put a big smile on my face.

My plug for the Sitting Hall in another thread fell upon deaf ears a few weeks ago. This probably shouldn't have surprised me. Maybe I should have made a video appeal with a fog machine & Enya on background vocals....

chris -- yeah, i must admit that the great chuck berry's lyrics have often come to mind over the years, and this is one example -- too much monkey business for me to be involved in

i talk with my butt -- i put it on the zafu, turn on my webcam, and it says"hi, roky here, glad to see you" -- much more profound stuff comes out of my butt than my mouth

hi kvon, glad to sit with you this am -- my webcam seems to be more stable in oovoo, so i'm trying to use it more

Good to see you this morning roky, I have stumbled in on a few people lately
I have been trying to use the hall more often than not for my sits, but I so far have a very erratic schedule so never now when I'll pop on.

hi dave -- i had a bit of a webcam issue, but got it going -- i'm usually in there around 7am, and again around 11 or so, est -- like you, just never sure exactly when -- i may just go and schedule those times, and then my apologies if i'm not quite precise, as once you schedule, can't change it

and then in a month, we'll be moving back to your timezone, arizona

actually, i think i'm going to try an experiment, for this week -- i'll put myself in for 1 1/2 hr blocks, with the understanding that i'll be in there some, or most of the time -- see how that works

oovoo is working fine on windows, but you know, speed on the computer is so addictive -- i've tried using windows for all my web surfing, since oovoo's video works on it, but forget it -- what used to be just fine is now unacceptable, compared to the speed of linux -- as soon as my sit is over, i'm out of windows, back into linux
