Gassho Jundo,
Thank you for this lesson… sometimes I find myself being a little too rigid with myself about this. Thoughts and emotions come and I realize I am tensing up as a result. Almost an inner rigidity that I now was able to release and let go of. I guess was attached to “not attaching”!( Best to let that go too!) This attachment thing is tricky!
Thank you!

Deep bow to Jundo for this teaching.
This is why I'm here.
Like many I started sitting Zazen seeking samadhi, 'cuz that's what ENLIGHTENMENT™ is, right?
And I've had my share of them, but yeah, after my first year or so of sitting, I noticed that clarity of mind was definitely increased, when I wasn't sitting. Probably more important, my empathy was enhanced by being more successful at putting myself in other people's shoes.
I feel like I already knew this, I just really needed to hear it.
Thank you, again.
sorry / not sorry for running long.
