    Good call! It is just a few fee away. It is Arches National Park. We stopped there last week on the way back from Salt Lake City. Beautiful place.

        p.s. Reminds me of a spot north of Jeddah on the Red Sea coast called 27Palms where we used to swim off a beautiful coral reef.

                                                            Random Photo Thread

                                                            Lubbock is also known as hub of the plains. It's about 250,000 population. I live in the outskirts and looking in it's flat city and looking out it's cotton farms. Every 30 miles or so there is about a 5,000 population town. These towns developed as rest stops/watering holes for folks traveling across the plains in the old days when traveling by horse and carriage. About one day travel with carriages and horses. The tractor is exactly across my son's elementary school.
