Thank you [emoji120] Onkai and everyone. I like [emoji106] this because it’s shorter than Zazenkai but gets the job done. Other places I can find videos and talks. For me I use this to start my weekly practice; I can’t always make it.

I am sorry for being a little late at the beginning as I had a sort of connection issue.

Thank you, Shugen, Washin, and friends for the Sunday Sit. It's always a highlight of my Sundays. I had to lie down for zazen today. Maybe I should adjust my camera by moving my computer when I do that.

I should have reclined this morning, but family needed some things, so I did not think of it in time to relocate.

I also look forward to Sunday Sit, it is always nice to sit together.

I’m happy and grateful and truly not disrespected or disrespectful life is too short to accomplish what I could have had I not been disabled. Thank goodness I got sober when I did or there would have been no child no MFA in that order. Every minute of every day gratitude fills my heart. No wonder part Buddhist part Christian. These are standards I could never live up to. I just try sit daily and treat others the way I am wanting to be treated. That especially goes for the women folk. My mother was a single parent and she raised my brother and me the way she thought was best. We didn’t turn out half bad the other half can be forgiven. Remember the verse of atonement. I’m sure the Buddha didn’t write it. He believed in
Loving Kindness, he believed in metta and that is what I believe.

                              I'm back!

after 50yrs of sitting alone, i finally moved to a community with a local sangha to sit with, on a daily basis no less -- and then came covid -- so back to my room.

assuming i can get the technical gods to cooperate, i will sit with you all tomorrow morning.

and special howdy to my old sitting buddy, shugen

I will be there. My straight back chair is perfect for sitting as in zazen and Sunday Sit my normal Sunday routine. I may finish early because I have a place to go and listen to my family about other parts of the Midwest.
