August 8-9th Treeleaf Weekly Zazenkai - Why Zen? The Tree in the Garden

Jōshū said, “The oak tree in the garden.”

ATTENTION: Everyone, when rising for Kinhin or Ceremonies after Zazen, get up slowly, don't rush, hold something stable, you won't be "late", so TAKE YOUR TIME! Make sure you are careful getting up!

PS - There is no "wrong" or "right" in Zazen ... yet here is a little explanation of the "right" times to bow (A koan) ...

Thank you all once again for sharing in this practice. And Thank you Jundo for the talk and Kokuu for the lovely Ino-ing.

Oh, and Jundo, per the tea time discussion, "First Name" then "Last Name" for the footnotes, so you've got it correct already... We've been sticking to Chicago style formatting (but definitely not Chicago style pizza...).

You see, I just put in a Chicago style pizza, I mean, footnote, and it was last name first name ...
