ATTENTION: Everyone, when rising for Kinhin or Ceremonies after Zazen, get up slowly, don't rush, hold something stable, you won't be "late", so TAKE YOUR TIME! Make sure you are careful getting up!

PS - There is no "wrong" or "right" in Zazen ... yet here is a little explanation of the "right" times to bow (A koan) ...

For Onsho, the Japanese ladder and gardeners ...

(Funny thing, I remembered that I even forgot to post this Zazenkai today, and Bion had to do it! Very appropriate.)

I keep forgetting to post on the Zazenkai threads.... tsktsktsk.
        Thank you Jundo.
Thank you for sitting together everyone.
I am using one of those ladders, too. They are really great and you can lean surprisingly far into the tree without being out of balance.
I might try those shoes one day, I imagine it being pretty helpful having a "grip" on the latter when you lean out.
        Gassho,
        Kotei sat/lah today.

Thank you, the ladder over here is of the type on the left image, made of Aluminum pipes. I Imagine that the movable big toe together with the foot/rubber being able to adapt to the "steps" can make a big difference.
Hmm, I should really try. (And they are available on Amazon, too)
