Thanks to all who came along tonight, it was lovely sitting and meeting y'all. Apart from no-one hearing my bell, I think it went great I'll look forward to seeing you all the next time around
Gassho,
Ryokudo
Thanks to you! It was a lovely meeting. Hopefully the first of many.

Yup the problem with being in the moment is other moments keep getting in the way. Seriously though drop in whenever you can make it. If you're a little late cool, just hit the cushion , need to leave early that's fine 2. We'll just be there chillin.
Hey all great too see y'all tonight it was a lovely sit with a Latin flavour from Antonio, Alina and Jesus. Antonio it was great to meet you and I can't wait to try the app
It was fun to drop in and meet everyone last night! As promised, here are a couple of links related to the subject of my undergraduate thesis on Zen, Edward Espe Brown:
This is obviously just the trailer, I haven't watched the full documentary in ages but I'm sure it is still out there.
Ironically, he has written a few books since I wrote my paper that would have made gleaning his particular brand of spiritual insight dramatically easier! Also, in searching for videos of the documentary on his life, I discovered that Mr. Brown actually gave a dharma talk at Treeleaf some years ago!
Just here to express my gratitude for this little "moment-to-moment" zazen we are doing. Somehow the time is working for me at the "moment" and I'm loving that we get to know each other a little and have a "mini dharma talk" after zazen. I was thinking that we could start dropping some Koans there too, what you guys think? I'll propose it next zazen.
Take care all and many Gasshos .
