Hello fellow Treeleafer's ... I just wanted to share another experience I faced today. Life sure has a way of showing us some beautiful lessons if we are open to receiving them. =)
While out for a walk with Bodhi I came across this little beauty hanging out in the grass. I stopped and in that moment I was joyful and excited to see such a beautiful little creature.
The wind had picked up a bit a blew this little guy off the grass, so I reached down to give him a hand. He accepted my offering and clung to my finger, again in that moment I was joyful and excited to have this beauty now on my hand.
All of a sudden he fell off, so I helped him back up, but again, he fell off. Right away I could see that this little guy was dying and on his way out of this visible world. In that moment I felt sadness.
With the proceeding moments I just took the time to sit there and hold him in my hand ... allowing this and the moment to follow unfold in the way they were intended to unfold. In doing so, in that moment I feel still, grateful, and at peace.
So thank you little Dragonfly for giving me the opportunity to be present with joy, to be present with sadness, and to be present with peace and gratitude ... each moment being their very own, yet being just that one moment.
