Out on the road tonight, I pulled over and sat 30, on a picnic table by a half frozen lake. Wind in the pines.

Deep bows to you dear Teacher, thank you for your practice.

I love the story of the Buddha's birth, especially the part where the newborn infant takes seven steps in each direction, with lotus flowers blossoming under his feet, and proclaims, "Above the heavens, below the earth, I alone am the world honored one!" You go, baby Buddha. Happy Birthday!
