What is death? I had the impression that everything just passed into another form. Are we ignorant?

Your words reminded me of a retreat I participated in 15 years ago that was led by Thich Nhat Hanh. In one of his talks the subject of reincarnation arose. His response was something like (this was many years ago And my memory falters) " look for me to return as a flower" Those words have continued to bring me joy. My wish is to become part of the wild lands that have been my refuge and my origin. This will happen but to make transformation quicker, which provides some meaning to me, I asked my family to climb to the nearby hill and spread my ashes. Don't want to delay the process by being confined in an urn.
