Hi everyone,
I'm Koen and have been interested in meditation since I heard a talk from Matthieu Ricard at Google. I would not call myself a Buddhist or even a spiritual person, but I need any help I can get with being a happier person I find that the Buddha's core teachings mesh quite well with my naturalistic world view.
I started by listening to the Introduction to meditation series at Audiodharma, and have recently attended one of Goenka's 10 day retreats - still have to write a little review about it though Even though I didn't dig the atmosphere that much, the meditation itself was wonderful.
Keeping up the practice has proved to be more difficult than I expected, so I'm looking for a bit of support. The 'just sitting' approach Jundo talks about seems to be a great fit for me, so I'm interested to see how it goes.
I look forward to meeting you all.
Kind regards,
Koen
