... but you, and about everyone your age in Ukraine is possibly subject to military service now. Is that correct? That would be a great weight on my shoulders that I would feel.

In late 19th century Japan, the government even drafted the young Buddhist monks who were of that age, which is how Kodo Sawaki ended up in military service during Japan's war with Russia!

I hope that it does happen.

receiving in huge numbers these days. Yes, we are now living in dark times but are very much hopeful
for peace to come soon.
Odessa city was relatively quiet last night although it was heard like fighting is going in the basin of
The Black Sea.

... but you, and about everyone your age in Ukraine is possibly subject to military service now. Is that correct? That would be a great weight on my shoulders that I would feel.

It is officially said that men between 18 and 60 are subject to mobilization but I never heard a case so far that authorities come and pick anyone compulsory. We have a huge number of people who come to serve voluntarily as well.
I hope Wabo will comment additionally on what's happening on his side.

Yes, we are subject to military service, but there are no places in the regular army now. Many have now volunteered for the war. For those who are not involved in the army now, volunteer battalions are being formed. So many people want to defend freedom and democracy. But maybe after a while I'll have to go to war too.
