Special Request: All Zazen and Sangha Activities This Week for WORLD PEACE!

    Dear All,

We had an excellent suggestion from a newer member that, with all going on in the world right now, folks gather in all our Zazen sittings, in our Zazen and other groups here at Treeleaf and privately at home, and dedicate all our practice activities this week to PEACE, and the avoidance of war and all aggressive violence.

May I ask that all our Zazen sitting group leaders, chanters and everyone at Treeleaf just take a short moment to dedicate your practice to PEACE all this week before sitting and gathering?

Truly, it is something that we do around here always, not just this week. Our Dedication during our weekly Zazenkai provides ...

To the healing of hatred in all countries and among all peoples
To the wisdom and compassion of our world leaders
To the peace of the world and harmony of all beings.

... but let us just take an extra moment this week to keep peace in heart.

I am thinking especially of our several members in Ukraine and elsewhere in the world who may see war and violence, or who have known war and violence in the past.

    Thank you.

    Gassho, J
