Likes and dislikes aroused through conventional thinking worm their way into myriad things. While not wrong, I strongly feel the way we act on them as practitioners should be more skilful than perhaps is sometimes seen. However, we rarely ever get the full story. I often see comments, that make me ponder their motivations or purpose but never know how to respond so just walk away. Sometimes I think, this is not very skilful of me, or perhaps it is skilful of me? I am happy these things are pointed out when seen, or expounded by more learned people. Only when a deeper understanding is reached can we more skilfully act.
