Hey Treeleafer

This is Kakunen from Japan.

I am at Myotokuji temple.
And I will go Chigenji monastery one week.

My practice of monastery is three times,head temple Eiheiji,Zuioji,and there.

How many monastery did I go?

How many temple did I go?

How long distance did I walk?

How many monk did I meet?

How many teacher did I meet?

How many times did I sit Sesshin?


My Zen journey started from three years ago after meet Jundo.

I miss my son ,father,mother.
Suffer from violence from parents,but can’t stop loving them.

But I have to stop flow of violence.

So I need to keep on Zen journey.

3 years past...

I just want say.

Just do ,don’t think,go with flow.

I miss family ,but I need to go Zen journey.

Crying ...

Difficult to give up to meet son.


With Dharma friend.


Near my country.


I just sit Zazen.

And I want to walk with Dharma friends like Treeleafer.

I was afraid of come Chigenji monastery.

Because I feel my practice at Myotokuji is good direction.

And I did not want to come monastery now.

Because my practice at Zuioji was very hard.

But Zuioji is hardest monastery in Soto Sect,so I realize that I did too much effort there.

But here in more easy to practice because not so hard practice.

And when I was at Antaiji,I can’t Shukke at there.

But I meet Dharma friend today at Chigenji who practice with Antaiji.

He also didn’t allow to Shukke Antaiji.

I realize that Muho gave me a chance to my Zen journey to meet good teacher for me.

In night sit I sit with Dharma friend,naturally I cry and melt down my anger and mind of afraid.

Practice is difficult but I always be given power of Buddha.

Sorry for scribing my afraid mind.

I decide to believe myself.

[Kakunen]

I am at Chigenji now.

We sit 40 minutes.

But I sit 70 minutes at 1 period.

This is comfortable for me.

When I start to sit Antaiji,very hard to sit.

Here in Chigenji,I sit with person who practice at Antaiji.

He sit 40 minutes here.

I was said by other monk ,too much sitting is not good.

But I keep on sitting comfortable minutes.

I will sit.
