Nice uke. Interesting headstock. I just bought one a couple of months ago and am trying to learn a few songs. See attached.

That's a beauty/ Is it a tenor or Baritone. Mine is a 27 inch Fender. That's their signature headstock. Do you play any other instrument. There are a pile of tutorials on youtube. and, I recently bought a Jake Shimabukuro song book from Amazon that gives 10 free lessons by Jake. I found it extremely beneficial in that it introduced me into working up the fret board.

Thanks, Shokai. It's a concert size uke. I thought that was a Fender headstock. I have been watching YouTube videos too. Doing some blues chord progressions and turnarounds. Not too difficult actually. I also mess around on the guitar too.

When I got my ukelele my 16 year old granddaughter who sings and plays piano said, hey let me try it. But she's left handed. So I said, your left handed, it's going to be backwards. Upside down. You can't....And she says yeah just let me see it. And then starts playing left handed, playing chords on it like no problem. I was quite impressed. So I told her buy a lefty and see how much easier it is. And she did. And it is.

I don’t know if this is a place in which I might apologize to all the Sangha for my atrocious behavior on the presentation yesterday from the Abbott of an Oregon Zen Center, the Roshi who will ordain Dyo and I so spoiled the wonderful talk about women in and out of Zen and Buddhism. My complete misunderstanding for I am 68 and she is 74, and I know Dyo also lived through these times when many women were treated poorly. And the Abbot was there for many in San Francisco in early days. This picture is fo The Abbot, Dyo, and especially for our new Sangha member.

Iwas talking to a guitar player who is left handed. He started playing left on a regular guitar but switched to the right side when he found out he could play easier that way

That's funny. Check out Eric Gales on Youtube. He's a lefty who plays a right handed guitar. A level of talent that I just can't comprehend.
