I am slowly working on my rakusu. My cat has been my intent companion. When I was cutting fabric on the floor she insisted on laying on the material and even after i shoo'd her away she was relentless about returning. Last night as I did some practise stitches she was right in my lap inspecting my work.

When I was cutting fabric on the floor she insisted on laying on the material and even after i shoo'd her away she was relentless about returning. Last night as I did some practise stitches she was right in my lap inspecting my work.

In the past year my family has lost two dear furry friends. Both of them were much like your cat and quite "involved" with sewing. I love knowing that the Buddha's robe has their hair sewn right into the folds.

They still sit with me.

I think many of us have kitty fur inside our Rakusu... I purposely wasn't too diligent about removing it.
