LOL, no it is not far (25 minutes) and I think I have the best commute (see very first pic in this thread). We have this wonderful river but hardly anybody looks at it because people are stuck in their cars. Just a question of the gear you use.

I draw my family life and slap it on holiday cards every year.
Valentine's Day has a pretty good narrative this year.

This morning when I checked the temperature, it was about 7 degrees F. Even now, it's about 14 degrees, and will get colder from now on. Maybe it will be below zero. LOL. Some of you live in warm climates, and sometimes I miss being in a place like Australia or even California. The truth is that spring is a real event in the upper Midwest. I look forward to flowers and bugs and getting my cameras out to take close ups in the parks. This is the beauty of the real awakening of the earth. I would very much like to learn how to post photos here at Treeleaf so I can share some of the beauty. I have thousands of photos on Google plus, and my friends at Treeleaf are welcome to look.

This picture was taken by a friend of mine a few days ago. It's the Fremont bridge at sunrise.

Crocus flowers, the first signs of spring.

Meanwhile ... somewhere in an undisclosed location in Canada the sun was shinning and the weather was warm, yes, in February!
