    Shawn,

Beautiful pics, especially that third one with your dog all covered in snow!

          Shawn,

The first one looks like a wolf. The second like an angry bear. In the third one he is saying "now it's your turn, show me what you got." Or maybe not. Just a dog having fun in the snow.

Alex and I go on pretend bear hunts often. Charlie usually plays the role of bear

I don't encourage keeping animals in cages, but the educational value for my kids won this time. They wanted pets so bad! So now they learn how to take care of them gradually. Ever curious this little fellow became my friend over the last few weeks

Maybe he was just looking for a giant-sized litter box. Wouldn't want to clean that out, ewwww

I sat yesterday for more than an hour and I was in a peaceful place in my space in the basement and I believe sitting is working for me now, and thought I would say that I have not participated in the group on Saturday, I always try to sit with the video on Google plus. I am happy. I almost went with a private Zen priest a few weeks ago but I think I have done the right thing staying with Treeleaf.

                        Hi Elgwyn,

Wonderful. But remember that Zazen is still good even when not so peaceful! (We are strange that way).

Also, not sure what you mean by a "private Zen priest", but always fine to sit here and elsewhere too.

The priest said he would take me on to study Zen on Skype with him, and I decided to continue with Treeleaf Zendo. I don't want to rush things and I feel more comfortable as a junior member of Treeleaf.
