I am sorry but if this is the wrong place I was unsure where to post.
I purchased a bowl set but it didn't have the chop sticks or spoon. It did have a wrap and four bowls.
Is this set okay for this "class" if not is there a link to purchase a good set. Also is the class still going on?
If it is not when will it begin again?

                  Hello Talib,

Yes the bowls you have will work just fine, but you will need a set of chop sticks, spoon, and setsu/spatula.

This specific class is done, but we are in the works of getting a new class started. So stayed tuned! =)

I don't know about other countries, where maybe Zen is more common.
Here in Germany it looks as if the few stores carry five bowl sets, which are very luxurious.
It makes me feel uneasy, eating just enough from bowls many people can definitely not afford.
Will our new oryoki circle allow for plastic bowls, and maybe a homemade setsu or silicone spatula?

                          Gassho,

                            Hi Guys,

There will be more information later, but it is perfectly find to make a set from bowls and ordinary items already in your home and kitchen. No need for fancy-shmancy.

Also during these ceremonies (specifically in person or on our retreats) I will not have to compromise my vegan diet will I? That would be the only reason I would be hesitant to participate in this practice. (Sorry if the question is stupid)
