The area between the ears is where it all happens. Or at least the reality that we experience. What I ask my students that I work with face to face is, "Would you let your dishwasher run your life ?? then why let your brain do it? You are the only one that can train that brain and the best solution here is to sit Shikantaza. That's why we call it practice. It takes time and patience; be gentle with yourself.
