Speaking from experience it is not unusual to finish with more sitters than I started with.
People joining a sit during V of R mmm not sure. Late comers used to annoy me but these days just go with the flow.
Even taking a swig of coffee during zazen what evs.

    Have the porn interventions stopped?
Never had one during a sit but there is that to factor in to lay hosting and zoom privileges.
When did zazen get so complicated or is it just me?

Hah! Try being a priest having to resolve issues on scheduling and keeping our sit hosts happy!

Should the hosted sits be extended by five minutes or is up to individuals?
At some point during Ango would it be in order to add an extra day or days to my hosted sit?

In my eyes it is up to you, the host.
I feel both a nice way to mark Ango.

Adding extra day(s) looks like a wonderful Ango commitment, others benefit from, too.
Let me know if you do so, so I can add it to the calendar.

          Gassho,
          Kotei sat/lah today.

I am going to go with adding five minutes to Monday and Friday sit from start of Ango.
Does that need to be reflected in the Calendar posting?
Can somebody give me a heads up before the time zone clocks change please as it always seems to catch me out?
I will add in an extra day or two once the UK clocks change at end of October
and things have settled into a winter routine.

That sounds lovely. I have not edited the description in the calendar, but adjusted the end-time from the start of Ango to the first week of December.
The sit is anchored in Central time (Chicago) and they do DST adjustments on first Sunday in November.
November 2nd 2025, setting the clocks back one hour at 2 am.

When you have decided on the day(s) for the winter routine, just let me know for the calendar.
              Gassho,
              Kotei sat/lah today.

Time to take a break I think from Mon and Fri hosting.
Down to one regular plus random other.
Could I make this Friday the last one please?

Thank you for doing this for such a log time, Shosai.
I have deleted the calendar entries from next week on.

A privilege and thanks for letting me host.
Perhaps this could be reinstated with new hosts now that there are new members who have taken the precepts.
