I am wondering what magic we will see this week, after last week's 'perfect timing' moment when Japan and the 'rest of the world' were so apart, yet so together...!

            Hi guys,

Impermanence hit. The father of a close friend didn't wake up this morning. I'm okay because I didn't have a relationship with him, but I'll go and be with my friend and see she is okay.

So I'll sit with you from a funeral.

... Yes, sometimes being with a suffering friend is Zazen too.

Aw Kyonin, I will also sit for your friend and all suffering losses today.
Not sure if I will make it to the Zazenkai, as we are out of town, but I will try.

Thank you, Jundo. You really got me with that one. I painted a lot of war machines today. Birds and cicadas tomorrow.

And thanks everyone else for sharing your practice
