Hah! If folks are not confused about some of the talk, then this is not Zen and folks are already enlightened, so nothing more to do ... would the last one out please shut the lights and close the door.

Zen is confusing! Rather, people are already "confused" with delusion ... so Zen is "unconfusingly confusing"? That's why we mumble stuff like ...

What is the sound of one hand clapping?

    Just don't know.

Why did Bodhidharma come to China? The tree in the garden.

Please take my words with a big grain of salt. I know nothing. Wisdom is only found in our whole-hearted practice together.

And by the way, ask some question if something is confusing. It help all of us to face these questions.

Reflecting on this again now (pun intended) as it has been mentioned in other threads. This concept does sink into the bones after awhile... although it was difficult to understand completely at first, somehow being the mirror always quickly puts things into perspective when the mind is turbulent. Areas where the mirror needs to be polished come clear, but then, what speck of dust is not the mirror? Thank you.
