Hello All,

Please 'sit-a-long' with our weekly FRIDAY/SATURDAY 'LIVE FROM TREELEAF' 90 minute ZAZENKAI, netcast LIVE from 9am Japan time Saturday morning (that is New York 8pm, Los Angeles 5pm (Friday night), London 1am and Paris 2am (early Saturday morning))

... and to be visible at the following link during those times ...

But FEAR NOT if not possible for you to join 'live' in your location at those times, as the entire sitting is recorded in 'REAL TIME' and available for full participation 'on demand' at any time after that, no different from the 'live' sitting :

OUR 90 MINUTE SITTING SCHEDULE IS AS FOLLOWS:

00:00 – 00:15 CEREMONY (HEART SUTRA in English ONLY) and Dedication
00:15 – 00:45 ZAZEN
00:45 – 00:55 KINHIN
00:55 – 01:25 ZAZEN
01:25 – 01:30 FOUR VOWS, & VERSE OF ATONEMENT

As you can see, our Zazenkai consists of chanting the 'Heart Sutra' in English (the words are at the link below), some full floor prostrations in sets of three (please follow along with me ... or a simple Gassho can be substituted if you wish), followed by our Dedication, Zazen twice for 30 minutes each, with 10 minutes of Kinhin in between, and we end the sitting with 'The Verse of Atonement' and 'The Four Vows'.

Hi All,

I suspect that we will have sound AND video this week ... as I am switching to a rather newer computer, finally retiring the old warhorse that has carried our Zazenkai these past two years or so. That should, perhaps, solve the little hitches we have encountered when the old Compaq was overloaded.

Our sitting today is partly dedicated to all our old computers. 8)

Okay, am I just really dumb or what? All I get is the recorded commercial, the actual video of the Zanzenkai does not begin. Am I supposed to "download" the video???...never had to do that with the other server.

Okay, am I just really dumb or what? All I get is the recorded commercial, the actual video of the Zanzenkai does not begin. Am I supposed to "download" the video???...never had to do that with the other server.

Hmmmm. Well, the universal solution is to just sit.

But now that the problem is solved from the start ... let's try to solve the problem! :shock:

The link works for me. Did you try reloading a couple of times? I am sure you did.

There is something I had not yet done to make the link "archived". Let me try that. If that helps, I will try to do it sooner each week ... Here is the new link:

They do mention that, when their system is busy, not all channels will be available all the time. I wonder if that is it. Hmmm. They do mention being able to buy a "premium" subscription to solve the problem. If the issue continues, we will have to see if I (or the viewers) need to do that.

Hi all,

I just tried the recorded video on a different comptuer than I usually use for the live feed and it worked fine. I see the first frame of the video for a moment, it switches to a 15 second ad, and then starts. I'll keep trying it at different times to see if I get a another result, but it might be good for any folks that see this post to check if they encounter the same issue, even if it worked a previous time. I'm sure the reason will eventually present itself!

Hi All,

I'll be sitting Wednesday morning as per usual schedule(alternating Wednesdays and Saturdays). If I notice anything odd I'll make a note of it here. It seems worth mentioning that I have had problems with trying to tune in through the app version. Usually one of two messages will pop up, network error, or that they are currently overloaded and suggest watching another channel. So the app seems just as buggy. Other than that I haven't had any problems yet joining in on demand from a computer.
