PS - There is no "wrong" or "right" in Zazen ... yet here is a little explanation of the "right" times to Bow (A Koan) ...

The other video I mention on Zendo decorum is this one, from our "Always Beginners" video Series:

I also recommend a little Talk on why small rituals and procedures are so cherished in the Zendo:

SIT-A-LONG with Jundo: Small Things in the Zendo

A little talk about small customs and rituals in the Zendo (such as straightening our slippers, not taking a short cut across the room, keeping our hands a certain way), and why those are elements of practice. It applies mostly when sitting in a formal group, like our weekly Treeleaf Zazenkai, but it is good to incorporate the

We normally anchor the Friday Zazenkai to 10am Japan time.

This means that US folks (and other people who have had a time-change) will move forward by an hour since last week. So unless Jundo says otherwise, assume the Zazenkai will be at 9pm eastern / NY (this is what the calendar shows).

Jundo can you verify once you are up and about?

        Oh, yes, forgot DAYLIGHT SAVINGS!

I do hope that they do away with that soon, finally.

It was wonderful coming together for zazenkai—and for the movie discussion after. I still stand by Godfather II > I, but they're both masterpieces.

I will admit I find them equally entertaining, under different conditions. I thought Clemenza was a hoot.

It was a sincere pleasure to sit with you all. Afterward, I watched the finale of Star Trek: Discovery... with someone I love.
