Ross: My first time trying live also, I failed! Don’t worry, I spent all the kinhin periods slamming green tea and messing around with my Zazen cushions instead of doing the slow walking bit. Hopefully there are many years ahead to do it in peace, until then, deal with tiredness and children I recon.

Fortunately little one was asleep, but he still lets out a random blood curdling scream now and then (bad dream) which usually snaps one back to the moment.

You can when the special effect department handles the enlightenment. You would think that they would let the lighting guys handle it.

By the way, I researched this once: The film is free online with compliments of the Soto-shu and the creators.

It was actually my 2nd time trying (cut short first time because of family reasons). But even if you don't finish it for whatever reason, there's no failing as Bion said. Especially with Treeleaf as you can always catch up later on Youtube
