        Thank you everyone.

Here is a little poem that came in today's sitting.

The inner part of the tree
        was nurtured by the spring
by the summer, by the autumn
        and the winter.

And the inner part of the tree
knows what to do in the winter,
knows what to do in the spring,
knows what to do in the summer,
knows what to do in the autumn.

        All the roots, branches,
        fruits and flowers
        are contained
in the inner part of the tree.

        Nurtured by mentors
        like seasons,
in the inner part of the tree
        mentors and ancestors are sitting
        with us.

Thank you everyone. I sat with you this morning.

I appreciated the story about Doshin Cantor and his impact on Treeleaf. I had assumed that most of the ceremony came from Nishijima Roshi.
