The other video I mention on Zendo decorum is this one, from our "Always Beginners" video Series:

I also recommend a little Talk on why small rituals and procedures are so cherished in the Zendo:

      I will be there.

Edit: I’m going to have to catch this one on the recording after all - I got home later than expected this evening and I’m exhausted.

Wonderful to sit with you all! Thank you, Jundo, for the perfect talk for my perfectly imperfect zazenkai, which featured a relentless leg cramp, someone setting off a fireworks in the neighborhood, and the folks across the street having a shout fest during your talk.

It may be very incomplete, but

                  How could I finish
                  this poem on rain...
                  and yet
                  the soil is completely wet

Thank you to all. We each perfectly manifest the great mystery in our own (imperfect) way.

I am completely grateful for and fond of you all, though I am imperfectly demonstrating it way too often. But I am completely sure we wholeheartedly did our best once again! Thanks Jundo and Sekishi!

Thank you James for sending the link to Shari Lewis' "Lambchop the lamb" for those who were at our tea time following Zazen ... yes, a perfectly imperfect childrens' show from our youth. ... Oh, the perfect song for the neurotic in all of us! ...
