Zazenkai was wonderful, at some point I could swear the birds at my house were syncing up across time and space with the ones in Japan! Given that my entire reality is created in my mind maybe they were? Pre-zen that could spark an existential crisis, post-zen it feels more like existential security? Now I'm rambling, anyways, great to see all you beautiful people! Deepest bows and I'll see you around the internet!

          Gassho,

Thank you everyone. I sat with you this morning. It was only 2 degrees this morning so I sat inside but I appreciated hearing the few birds from your side of the world Jundo.

I have a lot to learn; take anything I say that sounds like teaching with a grain of salt.

                        Thank you all.

Sat inside looking outside or was that outside looking inside. Customary for me, once the weather turns a little warmer, to sit facing the courtyard - after a long late Autumn and Winter looking at the study door. Wonderful to feel the sun, when not obscured, hear and watch the birds as they dance around the gravel and see the morning light changing colour and brightness. But hey that's all just in my head ! What's in yours ?

                        Great talk, thanks peeps.
