Jundo, happy birthday and many years!
My mother told me once that when she was pregnant with me her obgyn projected that I would be born on July 14. I’m glad I was late to the party, so to say, since I’m also told my dad wanted to name me “Robespierre” if I was born on bastille day. Instead, I was “a boy born at the end of July,” so, according to the prophecy of J.K. Rowling I may be Harry Potter!
Helpful comments on ‘it is what it is,’ this has become a popular expression, at least in the US, to the point where it can be a useless ‘throwaway’ phrase that ignores rather than honors and lives the present moment, regardless of my judgements of good/bad.
Again, happy birthday
Gassho,
