Thanks to all who sat and will sit, and those who cannot sit, and all the clean and dirty dogs and cats that sat with us, and our dear Jundo for making it all possible. So wonderful to practice together like this.

Please take my words with a big grain of salt. I know nothing. Wisdom is only found in our whole-hearted practice together.

Also, it was on Netflix and Hulu last I looked. Not sure if it is still there though.

Thank you everyone for making this rohatsu (my first) so memorable. A big shout out to our wonderful priests who guided us through and made the magic happen. Deep bows to you all. Thank you especially to Jundo, much loving metta and hugs for the coming week.

Thank you all. I was only able to join in live for a small portion, but tried to stay in the loop from the background, as the sittings were all full! Good job, everyone!

Thank you to everyone who sat and will sit this retreat, what a special weekend! But it’s all special—even when we can’t see it (and as we learned in Sekishi’s reference to Deep Space Nine, there’s no past or future, just now!) Have a great week, everyone.

Sat the whole retreat mostly one way through technical and personal glitches. Great to have one of Dogen's not easy to understand pieces given modern commentary. Wish there was printed material that the priests talked about.

                      Hi Tom,

I think the primary versions we Unsui worked with were the ones Jundo mentioned at the opening: the recent Kaz Tanahashi translation (see Jundo's Amazon link) and the Nishijima / Cross translation (see Jundo's PDF).

I believe Shokai referenced a translation by Shohaku Okamura, but I'm not familiar with that one. Maybe Shokai will post something more here about it.

Thank you Jundo, the Unsui and everyone for this wonderful Rohatsu. So great to practice with you all. Special thanks to all the Unsui who did such heart felt talks (Kyonin, I liked your Douglas Adams reference!). So much metta to Jundo and everyone for the coming week - hope to sit Zazenkai with Jundo and you all on Saturday.

I sat deep into Rohatsu with noone around, peacefully, and ango was Successful--I love my Sangha, and Jundo. I love my family, and receive compassion from a Buddha I can only a little understand.
