Thank you for the beautiful zazenkai. My husband and I are in the middle of a stressful and unexpected move, so Jundo's talk was the perfect reminder that the chaos is a perfect setting for Ango. Thank you, sangha.
And I'm sorry I forgot to bow when I entered yesterday.
Sat this, despite technology breakdown, loud music across the hall and worries about hurricane threats to loved ones. Thank you Jundo, Daizan and everyone!

Thanks to all especially Daizen. Thanks Jundo, I think that was a talk we all needed to hear and I will carry it through Ango, especialy when my mind starts to throw up obstacles.
A funny thing happened on the way to Ango...just back from two weeks of peaceful abiding and hiking from a vacation to the American Southwest. It's easier to peacefully abide on vacation! Sorry Jundo I was not able to get there sooner in August but did have a mini-sit at the Gila Cliff Dwellings a few days ago and could still feel the positive Treeleaf vibes!!!
Ok the story on my return to "real life"...threw out my lower back on my travel return day which made getting to the airport a bit more tricky. Checked my only carry on bag to save on back agony, only to have my bag be lost somewhere between Phoenix and Ottawa - still pending confirmation on its whereabouts. Then home this morning and a call from my mother in PEI that my uncle is gravely ill and in hospital - inoperable tumour in a duct of his liver. And alas, my computer after laying unused for a couple of weeks - took 4 reboots before I could start and finish this Ango opening Zazenkai!!!
So your talk Jundo on "no obstacles" could not have been more timely! Sending metta to my uncle and family and to all suffering from the impacts of past and imminent natural disasters. My obstacles are small in comparison.
Gassho and wishing peaceful abiding to all this Ango season!
Jason
So sorry about your uncle, Jason. Will sit for him and you and your family. Hope your back recovers soon.
