I feel spoilt. For us in Asia, both Zazenkais are at a reasonable time, so it gives me the chance to connect with a lot of different people in the sangha. Thanks for making that possible.

Dear friends, this is your reminder that our European Sunday morning Zazenkai is coming up. This week, our Heart Sutra will be in Japanese.
Last week we had a fantastic first zazenkai and I am hoping to see many of our Euro friends again. Feel free to join the meeting close to the beginning of it and head straight to your sitting space. We can have a chat and exchange some words at the end!
See you Sunday!

I'm sorry I missed it again. Yesterday I broke my foot and came back from the hospital around 4:30 am. I hope I can amke it next time.

Just take care of that foot. I am happy you are back home and on your way to recovery. Maybe I´ll see you later..

Hi, Paul! Great question. Jundo will have to clarify on the topic, but I imagine we’d all want to catch up on the dharma talks he gives on Fridays, regardless of what other sits we might be joining, so that part at least, I’d consider quite important. I, for example, will continue to attend the Friday Zazenkai as I have been doing. On Sundays we will not have the 4 hour zazenkai, so that one definitely is to be sat with the Friday event. I’d wait on a clarification from Jundo, yeah

I have the same doubt. Is that ok if we attend the 4h friday (saturday 1:00am in Europe) zanzekai and the european zanzekais or are the weekly short zanzekais on Fridays (1:30 in Europe) compulsory too?

Question though: in the main Ango post Jundo mentioned " Zazenkai: Join in each and every 90 minute Saturday Treeleaf Zazenkai, and 4-hour monthly Treeleaf Zazenkai netcast without fail." as a required Ango activity. How does it work with the Sunday Zazenkai?

I actually have an answer for you both now, having checked with Jundo. You can simply catch up on the dharma talks from Fridays and include the metta practice and dance from the Monthly into your schedule somehow, but attend the Sunday morning zazenkai for the group sitting and ceremony. That would be perfectly acceptable. Does that sound good?
Thank you both for being a part of the zazenkai!
