Zazen Sitting for Peace - Sunday March 20th - An Hour with Washin, from Ukraine

Hello everyone,

Please join us for the Sunday Sit on March 20th beginning at 7 am Los Angeles time, 10 am New York time, 2pm in London, 3pm in Paris, 4 pm Kyiv time, 5 pm Moscow time.

NOTE: TIME CORRECTION ABOVE FOR DAYLIGHT SAVINGS CHANGE IN USA (DAYLIGHT SAVINGS IN EUROPE COMMENCES 3/27).

The format of the sitting will be:

- Heart Sutra
- Zazen 40 minutes
- Verse of Atonement
- Four Vows

This time we will recite the Heart Sutra in English.

By the way, Washin would never say this, but I happen to know that during most days he is busy assisting to help transport and move in humanitarian aid from nearby countries. He says, "The situation with supply in certain regions here is catastrophic. People are starving and have no meds."

I suggested that he might cut back on some of his Treeleaf time to assist with that, but I know that he would say that activities like the weekly Zazen raise awareness outside Ukraine, and also raise spirits too, so are also important. So, he is somehow managing to do both.
