And a reminder to all our Angoers and Jukaiees ...

            Our 'Shuso' (Head Seats) ...

Let me remind everyone that our two Novice-Priests, Daizan and Sekishi will be serving as our "Shuso" (首座 - Head Seats) for the first month this Ango, a traditional role whereby they are managing and taking charge of the entire Ango and Jukai, will be guiding people, are here to answer any particular questions and concerns you may have and encourage folks. Shugen and Shingen will serve as Shusso during the second month, and all will serve during the third month (when I, Jundo, am expected to be on PILGRIMAGE IN INDIA/NEPAL, visiting the cherished Sites of the Buddha's Life and some other spots)

As well, Shingen will be on duty throughout Jukai season guiding our RAKUSU SEWING.

Kyonin and Shokai will be facilitating our PRECEPT READINGS thoughout Jukai.

So, if you have any questions during Ango or Jukai, can't find your seat, lost your luggage, want to complain about the service, or generally are wondering what's what and what's it all about ... ask and those good fellows will be on the case!

Looking forward to the precepts study. Each year I seem to be "loosing" my practice about mid summer, and always look forward to this time of renewal of practice and purpose.
