    From Kungfu Panda:

    Yesterday is history,

    Tomorrow is a mystery,

    Today is a gift.

That is why it is called "the present".

        I sit by myself

        In an empty room

        Fighting

        Who won

        No one was there

          In the dark night,
          seeing the empty sky,
It's empty but it's pervading anywhere.
Accompanied by a cup of tea in my hand,
          I'm seeing the moon's reflection.
Drinking the tea, I just drink the universe.

            hey Buddha

as i was going to work

i saw you sitting along the road

so i had to run you over

            but the strangest thing happened

            on my way back

            you were still there

            so i did it again

            but the next morning

            you were still there

            so i just drove by

            and then you were gone

                    Yes
                    It could happen any time,
                    tornado,
                    earthquake, Armageddon. It
                    could happen.
                    Or sunshine, love,
                    salvation.

                    It could, you know. That's
                    why we wake
                    and look out - no
                    guarantees
                    in this life.

                    But some bonuses, like
                    morning,
                    like right now, like noon,
                    like evening.

                        Gassho to all,

Thank you for the lovely words.

                        Regarding:

                        "old pond
                        a frog jumps in
                        the sound of water"

                        Is the response:

                        Old pond
                        Bassho jumps in
                        the sound of water

                        ?? I know I read it somewhere.

                        gassho,
                        rowan

                          Hi, Everyone,

                          An old pond -
                          The sound of the water.
                          When a frog jumps in.

                          Basho

                          Sengai's reply:

                          If there were a pond
                          hereabouts,
                          I would jump in
And let Basho hear the splash.

                          Blessings, Lora

                              ~Noble Mirror~

                              Where is the noble mirror...
                              It's bright and eternal.

Look for it, you will lose it.
Ignore it, you won't see the truth.
Talk about it, you'll be lost.

                              It's not object and reflection,
But the object is just the reflection.
It's not inside or out side,
But it's just inside and outside.
It's no side, and include all side.

When the two emerge to one,
the one will manifest to ten direction.

                              All Buddhas from ten direction.
                              Sound is just the sound,
                              light is just the light.

When you hear the sound of no sound,
Seeing the light within the darkness.
The Buddha is just in your very eyes.
                              Just in your very mind.
                              Watch Out...!!!

You find a flower half-buried in leaves,
And in your eye its very fate resides.
                                Loving beauty, you caress the bloom;
Soon enough, you’ll sweep petals from the floor.
