4 hours this morning ... Lunch... 4 hours this afternoon

    Hello All

I hope you are all well and smiling today.

I've decided I need an intensified sitting today. I will begin shortly...sit 4 hours... Lunch and kinhin, then 4 more hours, followed by reading of Opening the Hand of Thought, and some tea. My own little mini retreat.

Dedicating all to all of you, specifically my brothers and sisters receiving Jukai this weekend.

    Gassho

Ouch! My back is hurting just thinking about your schedule for today. Enjoy.

Sometimes we sit long ... sometimes we sit short ... both good and necessary ...

... all to realize this which transcends "long vs. short".

            Hi Frank!

I do this quite often and it's a fantastic experience. Sometimes it's hard, sometimes it's hard too.

But at the end it's worth it.

            Thank you for your dedication.

            Gassho,

            Kyonin

Brief lunch break. Morning sitting went well. Pretty stiff when rising, but subsided with kinhin.
Finding the use of the cup, is in its emptiness, not its form or beauty.

Three pieces of sushi and warm tea. Outside for about 10 minutes of fresh air on a beautiful day.

              Returning to sitting.
Appreciate all your words of wisdom and support.
