What is a light therapy lamp? Sounds intriguing. Is that one of those lamps that increases brightness slowly like sun coming up for an alarm clock?
Having done this a few days now ... mornings are really groggy. Tempted to do as Kyonin mentions and have a coffee beforehand. But that requires waking up earlier! Gah ! hahahaha
I suppose this is good for me to work through.

It's a set of very bright LED lights in small frame that simulates the brightness of a sunny day. Used to treat seasonal affective disorder or to help with circadian rhythms (i.e. help for night owls)

I am also a (long) life-long "night owl". I instituted morning sits about a year ago, which required getting up a half-hour or so earlier than usual.
Altogether a foreign and uncomfortable enterprise for me to set up in my mornings. It has become the main sitting and "bedrock" of my day. I have a mug of coffee first, then compose myself.

I would recommend the practice of a morning sit wholeheartedly. in fact, I sat this morning.

          Kaishin that is very interesting!
Ohesho, I think I need to add a mug o Joe myself and stick with this early thing.
