    Practice, practice, practice

You gotta do it wrong to learn how to do it right. In life as in zazen. As in parenting, driving, doing kata, calculating equations, playing checkers, breathing.

    That's all.

    Deep bows
    Yugen

I've got the same MO Randy - lots of "learning opportunities" shall we say!

        Hi Yugen!

Oh man, then I should get a PhD! I excel at doing things wrong. Maybe someday I'll be able to get it right

I am perfect. No practice for me.

Glad to see were all in it together! "Correct" behavior is a narrow band of a huge spectrum. Right, wrong, you gotta do something :-) Perhaps wisdom is learning to live with our mistakes, rather then eliminating them altogether.A perfect man is one we don't know yet.SatToday.

                Hello,

Reminded of a late friend who worked as a professional drummer.

When told of the joy with daily Practice, he replied,

                "Well I don't practice, I'm very good at it."^^

Didn't someone famously say, "the more I practice the luckier I get"?

As a school teacher, I strongly encourage my kids to fail many times a day. I certainly do it often enough!

                    Thank you for the thoughts.
