    Hi Danny,

Sitting in silence for the contrasts we get to experience in this life.

    Much metta.

In fact, "Dukkha" ("suffering" and “dissatisfaction” in a Buddhist sense) includes even happiness if we cling to the happy state, demand that it stay, are attached to good news, material successes, pleasures and the like, refusing the way life may otherwise go. That is also the “self” placing judgments and demands on life. The going with the flow, being just the flow flowing flowing, does not only include the sunny days, rejecting the rain.

Yes! I just recently received some really good news, and strangely I have to say it created a certain about of dukkha and anxiety in me. There are a whole host psychological reasons I am sure we could explore about that, however I really resonate with what you are saying here. But I am left sitting with now that I have the good news, how do I handle it. Relief and new pressures all at the same. All in flux and impermanence.

This is not to take away from the misfortunes and suffering from those mentioned in this thread, especially that terrible air accident.
