    Treeleaf 2015 Summer Retreat

ATTENTION: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED, HOPEFULLY TO BE RESCHEDULED

    WELCOME ...

To our preparations for the Treeleaf 2015 European Summer Retreat (link here), to be held at Rödjorna Retreat Center (link) in Sweden (map link).

The retreat will be guided by Fugen and last 6 days (5 nights) with arrival during the 10th of July and departure on the 15th .
The program will be mainly focused on sitting, walking, and being, but we also get to explore the Swedish outdoors. For an example of the daily program, visit the webpage.

As to the cost of the retreat
A shared room 535 euro pp
    A Singleroom 590 euro pp
Treeleafers will receive a discount on the retreat fee, so just mention that you are from Treeleaf when you sign up at the retreat center (and notify me after, as they will check with me).

One of the easiest ways to get there is to go to Laxå train station, where you will be picked up and taken to the retreat center.
Laxå lies slightly north of Rödjorna retreat center.

All further information regarding the retreat will be posted in this thread.

If you have any questions please contact the retreat center or pm Fugen.

Welcome again to what hopefully will be an annual Treeleaf tradition.

    Thank you for your practice.

Wow how I'd love to go! Not sure I can this year, but are Treeleaf retreats done annually? If so we could start planning now for 2016 one.
Sure would love to visit Sweden too, that's where my father's side is from.
              Gah!

                Hi Rodney,

I believe we are going to try to have various regional Retreats, hosted by various folks, from time to time and here and there. This will develop more in the coming couple of years. Please stay tuned. I hope we eventually have retreats within reasonable commuting distance of about everyone.

                  Hello all,
I am planning a regional retreat this summer to be held in midcoast Maine - details to follow within the next two-three weeks. I envision a three-day retreat - a long weekend sort of deal.

                  Deep bows

Wonderful! I have family in Maine and can visit them before or after. Awaiting the details!

I would love so much to attend, alas it is not in the card for this year. Next year though...
If I'm already enlightened why the hell is this so hard?

                            Thank you Fugen,
I am exploring my options to be there! I would be happy to (co) organise a retreat in Holland or Germany some time.

[edit] as it looks now I can not afford it unfortunately. I will try to save up, and who knows what happens in the next few months.

                            Gassho,

Sweden sounds amazing, but a little out of the way from Philadelphia. Maine would be great too! Awaiting details!
