Ideas for European Time Zone sitting group?

I would like to ask if there is anyone who is interested in (or who's busy life allows for) an evening sit on weekdays, GMT+1 ? My schedule allows Tuesday or Wednesday, maybe Thursday, and I'd suggest 8 or 8:30 PM.
I know this is high time for families, just want to ask.
Please make other suggestions if interested.

Hi Danny,

I'd be happy to join you now and then, any day really, if schedule allows I am sort of limited by irregular band rehearsals and babysitting duties, but whenever I can I will. This Thursday would be perfect to start with, 8:30 for instance when the kids are in bed.

Two non-problems now:
- I've never started a hang-out and don't know how to let people "see" and join in without sending invitations all over the globe...
If I can't do a usual hangout until tomorrow, I'll just try inviting you.
- Thursdays are not my favourite option because I work longer, don't know when I get home. But usually it should be possible.

Let's try.

Good news: I'm not doing anything wrong (I thought I might).
Bad news: see above.

So it all comes down to what Daizan answered to my "tech" post - one cannot simply invite the Sangha, one must create a new circle for that.
I'll try and do that.

My trial with Vincent was quite a non-problem, with my PC freezing and everything.
But Vincent patiently waited and called me back, so we sat together.

Please, as not to bother everyone all over the globe, would people interested tell me so (here or via PM), so I can create a smaller G+ circle?

Roland, if you PM me your G+ name, I'll add you to the list.

I'm not sure if it is better to agree on a day and time, or if more of us should invite when possible for them and hope others will join?
Like a gym where many people have the door key, and whoever comes first can open.
Please make suggestions!
I'd appreciate input from the experienced group-sitters elsewhere how they are coordinating things...

I just want to comment, having organized (or tried to) many sitting groups that meet in buildings made of wood or brick (so-called "meat space" ) ... that it is NO EASIER! Getting schedules coordinated, misunderstandings, the room sometimes being unavailable, lack of Zafus and equipments, the guy with the key being out of town ...

... many similar "non-problems". It is all Practice. Organizing the sitting with all the hassles to be transcended -IS- the Teachings of the Sitting in action!

Haha luckily we all practice zazen and are extremely relaxed continuously :P
When the guy with the key is out of town, we sit on the porch.

The only thing I would suggest is to _not_ make a smaller group as this actually "locks out" the other members of the sangha, they would not have a chance to see when you sat on their stream. If they however see that they might at some days as it fits join. I think its too early in the morning for clear thought and speech ... what I mean is that the best "advertizing" is just to invite all the sangha - that doesnt hurt
