Thank you Kyonin, "O merciless incense of processed cat food!". This cracked me up. Whether sitting Zazen, watching TV, reading a book, or nearly asleep in bed; you can't mistake that aroma. Thank you for this teaching.

Thank you Kyonin, your words are particularly useful these days I'm facing some problems and feeling tired and discouraged.

No cats here, but yet cats (and their waste products) are a part of zen too! An awesome thought you shared, Kyonin!

            Many thanks!

The next time that my dog accidentally does her business all over the kitchen floor in the middle of the night, instead of cursing I will try to remember your very wise words Kyonin. Gassho, David

Truly, Kyonin's comments should not be taken as just about cats ... though that too.

But all the poop in life's litterbox! I love this teaching, and our cat does too.
