Kyogen Carlson of Dharma Rain Zen Center has left this visible world ...

Kyogen Carlson, co-abbot of Dharma Rain Zen Center in Portland, Oregon with his wife, Gyokuko Carlson, left this visible world suddenly today amid his Practice.

We will dedicate our Zazenkai tomorrow, and all our activities in this Sangha, to him, his wife and their Sangha. He was always very kind and a great Teacher for so many.

    Endless Bows, J

Deep sympathy to his wife , family, friends and sangha. Hearing of the passing of someone of my generation brings mortality right in my face. It's just a tick away yet I still feel I could live to 125. That must be the grand delusion or am just overly optimistic 😊-)

                        Kind regards. /\
