    Impermanence

    I was very moved by a story I spotted in the news today:

    Woman Killed By Stone That Fell From Gargoyle On Historic Church



    (I'd have linked to the Chicago Tribune, but "premium features are not available to readers outside the United States." I assume reading an article is a premium feature...)

    What is probably most heartbreaking is the picture in the article showing the stone on the sidewalk. (I tried to insert it in the post, but it's too big.)

    A reminder that we're all here for a limited time, and that time can end at any moment with no warning...
